My name is Katie and books have and always will be one of my biggest passions in life. There isn't a day that goes by where I'm not seen lost in another world of books.

Will the love between these two survive the oncoming battle?The world building in this story was imaginative and beautifully descriptive. I really enjoyed getting to see the magic of this world. There was also plenty of action as darkness attempted to take over the light. I was constantly kept on the edge of my seat in anticipation.The romance in this story was wild and dangerously beautiful. I really liked the relationship between Calliope and Krystoff and had a great time seeing them fall in love.Calliope is a selfless woman who does all she can to keep the shadows at bay. I really liked getting to know her and felt that she was a strong woman who could accomplish great feats if she put her mind to it.Krystoff was darker than Calliope, but had a good side to him as well. He was a bit more mysterious as well and figuring him out was fun. I really liked him and felt that he made a great match for Calliope.A spellbinding story that you won't want to put down!
Double the trouble, Double the fun!I loved the twins they are so much fun to be around and their older selves are very sexy. I only wish their story was longer than a one shot. I think my favorite part about this manga though is getting to see a bit more of Alice's personality with in each book. Even as short as this volume is you always see a some growth in Alice from the beginning of the book to the ending. She deals with a lot of new emotions that many of us has gone through at one point or another which makes her seem more real to me. I also like that her reactions are a believable and she doesn't just go along with whatever is going on. She has strong emotions and she is not afraid to show it. Despite this being based on an otome game Alice doesn't let any of the characters push her around like many otome heroines do. She has a backbone which is nice to see. The Twins are so funny I liked them the best so far because they always put a smile on Alice's face. Most of the time they are just carefree and easy going, but they are great friends and fiercely loyal once they get attached to someone.A great volume to start off a new series of Alice in the Country of Clover!
Back in the saddle again with Star, Adam, and Tristan! Never a dull moment with these three and Awaken the fire is full of even more twists and turns than the first two books. We find out a bit more about our leading men, especially Adam. This man has a way of making you question everything particularly when it involves him. There are also some new opponents which include shape shifter dragons! I love the imaginative new creatures and villains that we find and I am constantly intrigued by this amazing new world the author dreamed up. She has a way of writing that really puts you in the midst of all the action and makes you eager for more. The characters have a lot of depth and I love seeing new facets of them even in book number 3. It is amazing to see them grow and evolve as individuals. The relationships between the three main characters Star, Tristan, and Adam has grown as well and you can really tell that they care for one another even when they make mistakes. I couldn’t put this book down! I highly recommend this to all Sci-Fi Romance lovers!
Keep the heat coming!The second book in The Adventures of Star Lite Trilogy really spices things up. A whole new level of danger and passion is added to this out of this world adventure as Star continues to learn more about her new powers and with a sexy new instructor. The book is filled with some intense drama that had me on the edge of my seat waiting for each turn of the page. There is also some mystery as to who or what Tristan really is and what he wants. Tristan is the sexy new magician with secrets of his own. I wasn’t sure about him at first, but he definitely grew on me and he added a whole new level of steamy when brought together with Star and Adam.We also get to see more of Adam and his stubborn ways in this book. I really wished he wasn’t so stubborn when it came to his safety and I think Star would agree. Star is faced with some all new challenges and although she gets a bit more control where her powers are concerned there is still much she needs to learn. This is a sizzling page turner that will leave you wanting more!
An unforgettable journey that will leave you wanting more!This story takes you to some amazing locales, few even out of this world with beautiful descriptions that really put you in the middle of everything. As I read this book I really fell in love with this new world as well as Star and Adam. Star is a character that I could really identify with and she felt real to me. She was put on an emotional journey, but through it all was able to grow and really come into her own. I felt that even though there were a lot of fantastical situations in this story that much of the problems Star faced especially emotionally are shared by everyone at one point or another. She was a lot of fun to get to know and I can’t wait to read more about her in future books.Adam was also a unique character and really grew on me. He was a complicated character that I had a great time getting to know. I really liked his determination and strength in the face of some terrible odds. He is an amazing character that I hope to see more of in the next book.A fun and exciting start to a brand new series I couldn’t put it down!
Will two stubborn people ever be able to admit their love?This is a fun and steamy read that brings two unlikely lovers together. The only problem is can they admit their true feeling before it’s too late?Sabina is an intelligent young woman who has had what she believed to be a one sided crush on her coworker for five years. She was a likeable character and I enjoyed getting to know more about her. Her interactions with Shaun were fun and steamy. I loved these two together!Shaun is an alpha hero for sure. He is a determined and cunning character that was the perfect match for Sabina. I enjoyed seeing him woo Sabina and come to terms with how they really feel about one another.The only downside to this was that I wished it was longer. I would have loved to read more about these characters.
Falling in love with a soldier has never been so sweet!This was a well paced story that really puts you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. The setting was perfect and with a little help from friends and family love was finally able to bloom for this amazing couple. I loved Greta and the rest of the family and hope to read more about all of them in future books!Bianca was a sweet and beautiful woman who has been in love with Caleb for a long time. Despite confiding in him through letters and feeling the way she does Bianca still believes she isn’t good enough which is why a little help from Greta and the rest of the family was needed. I really liked Bianca and enjoyed seeing her come to truly see her worth for herself throughout the book. It was nice to see how much she had grown and to finally see the relationship between her and Caleb bloomCaleb was a strong and determined man who I really admired. He was by no means perfect even if Bianca believed so, but he tried hard to do his best and really cherished and loved Bianca for who she was. I loved his character and had a great time seeing him convince Bianca that they belonged together. Caleb can really be a charmer when he wants to be. This was a sweet and steamy love story that romance fans won’t want to miss!
Sizzling romance you will never forget!The author really knows how to get your attention and makes the most of the steamy imagery. It was all too easy to get sucked into this paranormal story of seduction. What I liked most about it was that it wasn’t just some short erotica it was a full length novel and the characters had depth and emotion to them that you just can’t get from a short story. It made the reading experience that much more enjoyable.Rebecca is a wild and strong willed vixen. I admired her for her strength and her quirky personality. I loved that she was strong willed and had a mind of her own instead of being one of those whiny heroines who can’t even tie their own shoes. Oliver is a dark and mysterious man that knows what he wants and how to get it. I loved seeing him with Rebecca and even in their dom/sub relationship he cared for her. I liked seeing him come to fall in love with Rebecca it added some sweetness in an otherwise scorching read.For a sizzling read you won’t want to put down check out Midnight Caller.
Sometimes love needs a second chance.This is a riveting tale that you will grab your attention and hold on until the very last page. With an exciting mix of emotional romance and high stakes action this book is a perfect match for any romance lover.Belle is a kick ass heroine who I really enjoyed getting to know. She's made mistakes, but doesn't let them get her down. Even when shes working she knows how to have a good time. I also liked that she didn't let Bobby get his way even though she loved him. They are really fun together and their banter is one of my favorite parts of the book. It was also very nice to see how much Belle grew not only since she last saw Bobby, but throughout the book as well. She became a stronger woman and a better person instead of letting bad decisions make her bitter they made her stronger.Bobby was a fun character as well. He had also grown a lot through the years and even though he could be a bit thick headed you could tell he cared for Belle deeply. His efforts to gain back Belle's trust while sometimes crazy and comical were also sweet and I think Belle knew deep down that she would always love Bobby. I loved his fun loving attitude and how sweet he could be when it came to Belle.This is an exciting romance that will knock you off your feet!
Sometimes love deserves a second chance.A dangerous world filled with secrets and a roller coaster ride of emotions this story will take you one the ride of your life. This story made me shout with joy, smile with happiness, sigh with pleasure, and weep in pain, but I loved every minute of it.I was so excited to read more about Jett and Brooke they are so much fun and frustratingly beautiful. I love both of them and couldn't help, but root for them both to get back together. They still have a lot of obstacles and issues to deal with. I liked that they were able to deal with them maturely and no matter how bad things got they did their best to care for one another even when they weren't exactly seeing eye to eye. Despite all their problems I believe Jett and Brooke show what a real love is like. Its messy, insane, and sometimes painful, but it is always beautiful. There is also a lot more excitement in this story as well. They get themselves into some messy scrapes and a few times I was really worried, but there was also a bit of humor mixed in as well. I still love the interactions between Jett and Brooke and their banter with one another. you can really tell they love each other.Check out the exciting sequel to Surrender Your Love. You won't want to miss it!
A Gripping Read! This story is fast paced and full of action and romance. It was written very well with beautiful imagery that really made you feel as if you were there with Sola. I also enjoyed how the story made you think and stayed with me long after I turned the last page. The world building was excellent. I had a great time getting lost in this dystopian reality. I would love to see another book based on Sola’s world. Sola’s is a strong willed girl that I really admired. She is put through a lot both physically and emotionally, but she never gives up. I liked that although she was strong she had a caring side and truly wished to help others. She was a fun character to get to know. There were also a lot of memorable side characters as well including Dylan the demonstrator who Sola was intrigued by. He was an interesting character and I liked that he wasn’t necessarily bad or good. The premise of the book was both intriguing and exciting I couldn’t get enough of it and Sola was and is one of my all time favorite heroines with her caring nature and strong heart she is a character you will never forget. This is an exciting new novel that I highly recommend especially to those who love tons of action mixed with romance!

The story is full of twists and turns that will have you on the edge of your seat in anticipation.Akbar is a mysterious and formidable hero who is a perfect match to the feisty Sarah. He was intriguing and really knew how to push Sarah’s buttons. I liked seeing how he interacted with Sarah they were a fun pair. His character had a lot of depth and I enjoyed uncovering all of them along with Sarah.Sarah is a stubborn and courageous woman who has found herself in a crazy situation. I liked that she was able to handle herself very well even when things got really tough. She didn’t always make the wisest of decisions, but she made her choices and stuck to them. I really admired her and liked seeing how her relationship with Akbar turned out.For an exciting romance check out The Desert Sheikh Trilogy!
This is a captivatingly beautiful story from start to finish.After being kidnapped by an outlaw for his daughter’s birthday Crockett is a little alarmed to say the least. The story was fast paced and had a perfect blend of humor and romance. There were also some great lessons in this story that I will carry with me forever. The author has a way with words and I really enjoyed how she handled the issues of faith in this story.Crockett is the younger brother of Travis and I was really anxious to hear his story. He is a man of faith and hard work. His strong heart and caring nature made me fall in love with him right along with Joanna. I also liked seeing how much he grew throughout the book and that even though they met under some strange situations he gave both Joanna and her father a chance. Joanna is a sweet young girl who only wanted to fulfill a promise to her mother. She is courageous and strong willed much like her father, but has a kind heart and would do anything for her loved ones. I enjoyed getting to know more about her and seeing the relationship between her and Crockett bloom. The romance is sweet and heartwarming. It wasn’t rushed at all and I loved all of the sweet moments between Crockett and Joanna. This is a beautiful story full of hope and romance that I would recommend to all readers!
Friends to Lovers!This is a sweet love story that will send you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. The characters are very relatable and the exotic locations will take your breath away. I loved getting caught up in the romance between these two and feel that it was even more special because of their friendship. Eagan is a great hero who has a lot in common with Brina. I could really tell he cared a lot for Brina even in the beginning. I really enjoyed getting to know more about him and seeing his friendship with Brina blossom into something much more.Brina is a sweet woman and I could really relate to her, but I was also practically shouting for her to confess to Eagan. Even so the tension made it that much more exciting. You won’t want to miss the memorable love story!
Another breathtaking romance mixed with non stop action!This series just keeps getting better and better, Kirby is the newest edition to Faith's group of friends and also happens to be the mate to one of the Wolfen's, and that is Rane. I love the girls in this book because they are no pushovers, but they don't all start out as demon killing machines they work at it and do the best that they can with what they've got. I also enjoyed seeing some awesome heroines show these military boys that being a woman doesn't mean they can't kick some demon ass!Unlike the alpha Rane had no intention of resisting his mate. In fact he had a hard time keeping is hands of her. I really liked the fact that Rane was more open to having a mate, but still gave her some space. He was still all alpha though. He knew what he wanted and did whatever it took to get it which is one of the reasons I love these alpha heroes they aren't afraid to fight for what they desire.Kirby was a sweet and sassy character that I was able to relate to a lot. She was an animal lover which I found endearing and a bit funny under the circumstances. She was a bit shy at first, but really came into her own as the story progressed. I really enjoyed getting to know her and see her grow into the strong woman she is. I cannot wait to read more of this series and its kickass heroines!The second installment in the Armageddon Mates series was gripping and had me excited for more!
Adventure and romance clash in this unforgettable story of love and duty.I loved the beautiful descriptions and how they made you feel as if you were right there with the characters. The plot was fast paced and full of surprises. The way magic was blended into this historical setting was perfect and only added to the fairytale like feel to this story.Janne is a beautiful and caring woman. She is also stubborn, especially when it comes to Braeden. I really enjoyed getting to know her and see how she handled her magic and the fact that it isn't as widely accepted as it used to be.Braeden is a noble, strong, and courageous man. He was a great partner for Janne even when they didn't exactly see eye to eye. The banter between these two was so much fun and you could really tell how much they cared for one another.The romance in the story was sweet and well paced. Giving us time to get to know the characters and for them to get to know and respect each other. I could really feel the chemistry between these two and felt that they would make it together no matter what the future held.This is magical story that you will not be able to put down!
